New Delhi: The launch of the Honor 90 will be confirmed in India soon, although a specific date is yet to be set. The phone was released in China at the beginning of May this year alongside the Honor 90 Pro.
Madhav Sheth, formerly affiliated with Realme India and current CEO of HonorTech, said the Honor 90 India variant, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that can support 66W fast wired charging, will launch with bloatware-free software.
In an official Honor interaction with a YouTuber, the company’s CEO said the highly anticipated Honor 90 will be launched in India with Google apps pre-installed, but only apps that users use and really work with like Google Maps, Google Driving, etc, reported media outlets.
He added that the phone will have a “smooth, stable, and non-intrusive” user interface, essentially guaranteeing no bloatware. Sheth confirmed that the phone will ship with Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 UI.
He also said the Honor 90 India variant will feature a durable four-curve AMOLED floating display, but did not go into details.
Specifications revealed! He added that the company will offer two years of Android upgrades and three years of security updates. The CEO reassured that the model would be launched in India soon, but did not announce a specific date.

Expected to compete with other smartphones in the market like OnePlus Nord 3 5G, iQoo Neo 7 Pro and Poco F5 5G, Honor 90 is expected to launch in India at a price around Rs 9,999 – 35,000.
Offered in Diamond Silver, Emerald Green, Midnight Black and Peacock Blue color options, with availability varying by region, the handset launched in China with a starting price of CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 29,160) for the 12GB + 256GB memory variant.
Featuring a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1200 x 2664 pixels) curved OLED display, the Chinese variant of the Honor 90 comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness level of 1 600nits. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
The triple rear camera of the Honor 90 phone launched in China includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
It comes with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera sensor housed in a centered punch-hole slot at the top of the panel. It has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W fast wired charging.
