Specifications and Features

Honor Play 40C flaunts a 6.56-inch LCD waterdrop screen that offers HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels) and 90Hz refresh rate, 90Hz touch sampling rate, and 70% NTSC color gamut.

For better performance, this smart smartphone of Honor has Snapdragon 480 Plus chipset, which is paired with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. To power the device, a large battery pack with 5,200mAh capacity has been provided by the company, which comes with 10W charging support.

On the camera front, the Play 40C packs a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The handset comes pre-installed with MagicOS 7.1 UI-based Android 13.

Talking about other features, this smartphone has options like Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity. Also for security it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The phone weighs 188 grams and is 8.35 mm thick.

Price and availability

The company has introduced Honor Play 40C in a single variant (6GB + 128GB), which has been priced at 899 yuan (about Rs 10,301). It comes in three attractive color options Magic Night Black, Ink Jade Green and Sky Blue. At the moment, the company has not yet given any information about its global launch.
