What to do if the phone falls in water?

- After switching off the phone, separate all its accessories. If possible, separate the battery or SIM card and memory card and keep them on a dry towel. Actually, doing this will reduce the risk of short circuit.
- After separating the accessories of the phone, you have to dry all the parts of the phone. For this you can use paper napkin. Apart from this, the phone can also be taught using soft towels as well.
- After drying from outside, it is also necessary to dry the phone from inside. For this, keep the phone pressed in dry rice in a utensil. Rice works to learn moisture fast. Apart from this, if you have silica gel pack then you can also use it. Silica gel packs are kept in shoe boxes or gadgets boxes etc. They absorb moisture faster than rice. You have to keep the phone in a silica pack or rice pot for at least 24 hours.

Don’t do this at all
If the phone has fallen in water, do not try to dry it with a dryer. The hot air from the dryer may melt the phone’s circuits. If the phone is wet then do not use its button as it increases the risk of short circuit. Do not use the phone’s headphone jack and USB port until the phone is completely dry.
