During their conversation, PM Modi and Pichai delved into Google’s intentions to contribute to the growth of India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. The Prime Minister commended Google’s partnership with HP in the manufacture of Chromebooks within India’s borders.

PM Modi also acknowledged Google’s noteworthy initiative in supporting 100 languages and advocated for the availability of AI tools in various Indian languages. Furthermore, the Prime Minister warmly welcomed Google’s plans to establish a global fintech operations center at the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) in Gandhinagar.
