After months and months of prying information about the possible delay in GTA6 Launch, a final word from Rockstar has put our pursuit to an end. As per a recent press release by Rockstar the game would now be launched on 26th May 2026. The new announcement has sparked contrasting opinions while for some it has led to utter dejection, many others are happy that they have finally heard from Rockstar about the delay.

Posting a Written note on its official channels , Rockstar said it is sorry for the delay in the release date of the game. “With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve,” Rockstar Games said.
While Rockstar has revealed that the game would be late, Rockstar games is still remained tightlipped about the launch of the new trailer. The first trailer of the Game was released a year back and it had revealed key details about the location as well as the players that would be a part of the gameplay. The protagonist for the game this time would be female player named Lucia along with her confidant Jason.
Old Features Fans Want To Witness
GTA 6 fans have sought resolute satisfaction in enlisting new features and additions they would love to see in the new game. As per a panel discussion between J.D. Witherspoon and Alex ‘ Golden Boy’ Mendez the fans are eagerly waiting for Rockstar to bring back several features that were seen on older titles like the Grand Theft Auto San-Andreas back in 2004. The first change that the panelists wanted to witness in the GTA 6 would have been the 6 star wanted level. Beyond that, the panelists solemnly confessed to be eagerly waiting for a return to body changing mechanics that allowed players to hit the gym and help the player get fit or get fat by eating fast food, would be welcome as well. And the last but not the least would be the Dual Wielding of weapons. That apparently added to the appeal of the character.
