Rockstar is all set to take over the gaming scene in 2026 with the biggest release of the decade – the sixth installment of the GTA franchise, dubbed GTA 6. So far, multiple leaks and rumors have revealed that gamers will experience evolved gameplay, new characters, and a few familiar faces.
GTA 6 Characters, Maps, and Gameplay
GTA 6 will feature two lead characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Camino, both inspired by the real-life notorious criminal duo, Bonnie and Clyde. The storyline follows their pursuit of making it big, which drives the events in the game. Other characters include Real Dimez, Brian Heder, Raul Bautista, Cal Hampton, Bobby Ike, and more.
Speculations suggest that GTA 6 will bring GTA Vice City as a key location for most of the story. Other locations include Port Gellhorn, Mount Kallaga, Ambrosia, Grass Rivers, and Leonida Keys. Compared to its predecessors, the game will feature improved weapon-selection mechanics, a social media platform, and a love meter among the lead characters.
GTA 6 Price, Editions, and Release Date
The debut of the game is scheduled for May 26, 2026. It will be launched on multiple platforms, including all variants of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, offering three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s. In India, the Standard Edition is expected to cost around Rs 8,000, the Deluxe Edition Rs 13,000, and the Collector’s Edition approximately Rs 35,000.
