GTA 6’s release date has been pushed back yet again, and fans are not pleased. As per a latest statement by Rockstar Games:
“Hi everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026,” the post read. “We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realise has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.”
Earlier in May this year, Rockstar had announced the postponement of the release to May 26, 2026 — a delay of six months.
Originally, Rockstar had postponed the title’s release from Fall 2025 to May 2026. The move has caused great anguish among fans. Here are a few of the memes that fans have been sharing online to cope with the delay of one of the most-awaited games in recent times.
