Google photos is the go to choice for photo editing, viewing and sharing for android users. Hence to up keep the user experience of the application Google is reportedly planning to bring back a feature that they suddenly removed without a warning last year.
Such an uncalled for exodus of the feature left certain users frustrated and annoyed. The inability of the users to share photos and videos using partner sharing, especially images and videos taken with external cameras, or created in other applications on the phone left users annoyed with the new update.
Google’s New Update
But as per a new news update, Google has been working on a new update that has a code to restore the ability of the application to use partner sharing to share photos and videos that have been created and stored in third party applications as well.
The discovery has been brought forward by Assemble Debug. The new feature supposedly allows the user to interact with a new toggle switch in the application that has been labeled “Include content from other Android Apps”
This would allow the user to easily toggle between restoring partner sharing, a functionality it originally had before the feature was removed last year.
Google Photos and Partner Sharing?
Sharing and connectivity have become a integral part of any application. Any new feature or addition that might impede users from sharing like the generally do can impact the over all favorability for the application.
Partner sharing was a powerful feature that made it easier to share photos and videos with one invited person, typically your partner, sharing the photos without any intervention became a merit for many users.
Further the application provided the users with the ability to share all photos to specific people. The users should always ensure that they restrict automatic sharing to people they trust and update the users that receive your photos from time to time as per changing preferences.
The change has been detailed in the Google Support forum announcement, Until the new feature arrives google has recommended that users share their photos manually. Google is testing the new ways to offer users more control over how they organize and declutter their content.
Google Upgrades For Photo Stacks
This new feature would allow the users much more control over how they stack and organize their photos. The new upgrade would allow the users to have control over how they organize their photos.
Further Google is also supposedly working on a new update to the memories feature of the application. That would automatically surface your best photos and videos in timely automated video clips and slide shows. As per the update it would be easier to make memories show more photos and videos, of the people you are most interested in.
