Google has finally announced their new budget Pixel Phone with the new Tensor chipset in the market. Before the launch a slew of leaks had already leaked the final look of the phone, specs and beyond that a few youtubers were wielding the phone in the videos as if it was already launched. How were they able to get their hands at the device before the launch, is still a mystery. 

The 9a features the same design as that of the other Pixel 9 series devices, the stand out appeal of the phone lies in its flat edges that diminish into the aluminum frame. The back is laden with a polycarbonate frame which offers a fresh appeal unlike that of the previous google pixel phones that used to have a camera bump. 

Screen 

The Pixel 9a would have a 6.3 inch pOLED screen with a 2424×1080 resolution and a refresh rate of around 120Hz. The new display is capable of 1800 nits of brightness in HDR content. The display also features a optical fingerprint sensor as well. The users would be able to choose between a 8Gb RAM and 128 Gb variant or a 256 Gb variant. Both the phones are powered by a Google Tensor G4 chip with the titan M2 security coprocessor. 

Camera 

The Phone also gets a reworked camera system  the new phone gets a 48 MP F1.7 camera with Quad Pd Dual Pixel AF and OIS. The phone is capable of recording a video in 4k at upto 60 FPS. The ultrawide camera is however the same as before a 13 MP f2.2 unit. The front camera is the same as before a 13 MP that was seen on the previous models as well. 

Battery 

The Phone would now be available with a 5100 mAh li-Ion battery with a claimed 30+ hours of battery life. Beyond that the phone features a 23W as well as aQi charging support. The phone would be available with Android 15 out of the box. The phone would be available online in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris and Peony. The phone is available for a price of Rs 49,999. 

Pixel 9A Vs iPhone 16e

Before google Apple had also launched a new more affordable iPhone the 16E, Although the 16E was aimed at users who sought the convenience of owning a Apple Product with a smaller Budget. The 16E has been able to provide the users with the same processor as that of the flagship 16 series with that of the iPhone 16E at a much lesser price. The Pixel 9a would directly go against the likes of similar phones but would its features be able to persuade a Apple users to leave behind the Apple Ecosystem?
