Google Pixel 8a Leaked Online: Renders of the Google Pixel 8a have surfaced online shortly after the company introduced its flagship models, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. These leaked images suggest that the Pixel 8a will feature a 6.1-inch flat display and retain the raised horizontal camera bar seen on the current-generation Pixel devices. Notably, the Pixel 8a is expected to have slightly larger dimensions compared to the Pixel 8, as indicated by information circulating online.
The Pixel 8a’s detailed renders were shared by tipster and journalist Steve Hemmerstoffer (X: @OnLeaks) in partnership with Smartprix. These images depict the Pixel 8a in a color scheme reminiscent of the Rose color introduced with the Pixel 8 at the Made by Google 2023 hardware launch event.
Both the front and rear sides of the phone closely resemble the standard model, although the bezels on the Pixel 8a appear slightly more prominent.
According to the information provided by the tipster, the Pixel 8a is expected to measure 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9mm, implying marginal reductions in height, width, and thickness compared to the Pixel 7a’s dimensions.
Interestingly, the leaked images suggest that next year’s midrange model may sport more rounded corners, distinguishing it from the Pixel 7a.

The rear panel of the Pixel 8a features a raised camera module that closely resembles the one on the Pixel 8. It houses two rear cameras on the left side, accompanied by an LED flash on the right. The iconic Google logo is also prominently displayed in the middle.
Additionally, the tipster has shared 360-degree renders of the alleged Pixel 8a, revealing a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the display, flanked by speaker grilles. The front of the handset boasts a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, while the top of the display houses a slim ear speaker for making calls.
At the top edge of the phone, there is an antenna line, which could serve for cellular connectivity or potentially for ultra-wideband (UWB) support. Notably, Google has not initiated sales of its Pixel 8 series of smartphones in India, and the company has not yet announced any plans for launching a midrange version of its flagship phones.
However, we can anticipate more information about the Pixel 8a to emerge in the coming months leading up to its possible launch next year.
