The company is set to launch two smartphones under the Pixel 8 series, which will include the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. The camera details of both smartphones have already been leaked online. According to a report by Android Authority, the Google Pixel 8 series might feature the Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor, which will be a significant update over the previous model. The new sensor captures 35% more light than the old sensor and supports 8K/30fps video recording.

In the Google Pixel 8, the company is expected to offer a dual camera setup, including a 50MP main camera and a 12MP IMX386 ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calling, there might be a 10.8MP front camera. As for the Pixel 8 Pro, it could come with a triple camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera, a 64MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP telephoto sensor with 5x zoom support. Similar to the base model, the top model might have a 10.8MP front camera. Other details about the smartphones are yet to be revealed.
