Tech manufacturers seem to have sought the next innovation of phones and devices to be in the Fold form factor considering that all major manufacturers have been planning to go beyond manufacture foldable. in a recent update the new renderings of Google Pixel 10 pro Fold have been revealed. The images have suggested that Google may focus on spec enhancements rather than exterior redesign for the next-gen phones. Which may be a good thing.
Leaked Renders
As per the leaked renderings, it has become apparent that the new phone would continue to have the same design as that of the older Pixel 9 pro fold, the design would incorporate a triple camera setup, housed in a horizontal bar and a sizable inner display as well. As per the new leaks, it seems that Google has changed the internal management of the phone chassis and ancillaries and now the sim tray has been moved to the top of the phone. Expected Launch Dates
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to launch alongside the rest of the Pixel line-up in August at the annual Made by Google event. As per the rumors it is being alleged that the new foldable might debut at a much lower price than before, this would offer a more competitive edge in the foldable smartphone market. As per the leaks it has become apparent that rather than going for a new phone design Google has been planning to give the phone a slew of internal enhancements to refine the user experience. With the increasing competition in the fold segment it would be intriguing to see how the new fold 10 fares through the market.
Its possible that Google has joined in the race to bring necessary changes to the phone to ensure that the fold form factor leads to reduced appearance of the crease that often develops in phones as fold phones get older. Or it could just be a change in managing the internal parts to keep the phone’s weight balanced and ensure that the phone has improved cooling and heat dissipation.
