New Delhi: Using a smartphone is quite an obvious thing for people of each class and age group. It is the applications that make people obsessed with the phone. But very few of us are aware of the harm that the apps can do to us.
Google always issues warning against apps that can do some data theft and other unwanted things, if they are installed in your phone. Recently, the tech giant banned 43 apps and removed them from Google Play Store.
If you have any of these apps installed in your device then it is recommended to remove it quickly.
Google Bans 43 Android Apps Banned in India
Apps like calendars including TV / DMB players, news, and music downloaders have been present in the list. All these apps were media streaming which tried to steal other data along with consuming battery by showing their targeted ads to the users.
Actually, these 43 Android apps were violating the Google Play Developer Policy. According to Google, the apps were found loading ads when the device’s screen was turned off, due to which the phone’s battery was dying very quickly. Also, the apps used excessive data. Not only this, they were also working to steal the personal information of the users through external means. In such a situation, the possibility of banking fraud could also have increased.
