Galaxy S25 Smartphone Giant Samsung has revealed that its biggest annual event “Galaxy Unpacked” will take place on January 22, 2025. The event will take place in San Jose, California which is evident by the company handing out invites at CES 2025.
The primary focus of the Galaxy Unpacked Event will be S25 Ultra and Artificial intelligence (AI) features. The AI features offered will play a large role in the new models, with many tech experts predicting best-in-class features.
Galaxy S25 Ultra Processor
Samsung fans and Tech experts are eagerly waiting to know which processor will be used in the phone. It will be interesting to see which chip is used to power its flagship models by Samsung. Additionally, it is unclear whether the entire S25 portfolio of smartphones will use the same processor or not. The majority of reports indicate Samsung using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 across the portfolio. However, the Exynos 2500 chipset could also be used.
Galaxy S25 Ultra Display
Several reports have indicated the Samsung S25 Ultra debuting Corning’s second generation of Gorilla Glass Armour. This means that the phone will become the first Android flagship to come with such high protection. The screen of the phone will be slightly larger than the previous generation ultra models. Unofficial renders indicate S25 ultra has a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel and 3,120 x 1,440 resolution.
Camera
The S25 Ultra model will carry over the main camera system of the S24 Ultra. However, according to several reports, the ultrawide camera will have an increased sensor size of 50 megapixels. Essentially this should allow for more detail in photography, and allow 8K recording when in use. The upgrade in the camera system will help it compete with other Android flagships like Pixel.
Design
Samsung’s new Flagship smartphone will re-iterate on the look of the current S24 Ultra. The design changes include a sharper edge to the corners. Additionally, the smartphone may rounded edges for better grip.
Galaxy AI
Google’s Pixel 9 is leading to the race in the second generation of AI Android smartphones. However, Samsung’s new flagship will challenge it and establish dominance as the S25 family launches. Evidently, we all know that Samsung offers the best and most functional AI features. Even better than iPhones. The dominance is due to the increased performance on-device and a year of AI development work.
Individuals should note that Samsung has started pre-reservations for the S25 series in India through the Samsung India Store. The company says customers can benefit up to ₹5,000 by pre-reserving the phones for ₹1,999.
