itel P40+: itel is continuously introducing budget-friendly smartphones in the Indian market. The brand recently unveiled its itel S23 smartphone and has started teasing the upcoming itel A60.
Amidst all this, the company has announced the launch of another new budget smartphone itel P40 Plus. Its microsite is now available on Amazon, which reveals some of its key specifications.
Will be equipped with 7,000mAh battery
According to the microsite available on the Amazon page, the itel 40 Plus will be India’s first 7,000mAh battery smartphone that will cost less than Rs 9,000.
The battery will provide 41 hours of calling time, 14 hours of video playback and 16 hours of chatting. The company has also confirmed that the itel 40 Plus will support 18W charging via the USB-C port.
The accompanying images suggest that the itel P40 Plus will sport a punch-hole display with thick bottom bezels. The device will come equipped with a dual-camera setup with flat edges and dual-LED flash units at the back. There is also a side-facing fingerprint sensor for security.
While itel has unveiled the green variant of itel P40 Plus. At present, the company has not confirmed whether the device will be offered in other color options or not.

The device features a 6.8-inch LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It sports an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + AI lens dual-camera system on the rear.
itel P40+ is powered by Unisoc T606 chipset, 4GB RAM and 7,000mAh battery with 18W charging. The phone comes with Android 12 OS and offers 128GB of storage.
