Twitter Legacy Blue Tick Removal Date: Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has finally announced the withdrawal of the old Blue Tick. For a long time, old Twitter has been the subject of debate. At the same time, a new date has been set for the removal of the legacy, i.e. the old blue tick.
The corporation had previously set an April 1, 2023 deadline, but later in the report, April 15 was specified as the revised deadline for removing blue ticks from legacy accounts. But, Elon Musk has announced a new date in place of this one.
Only people who have subscribed to Twitter Blue Tick will receive it in this case. After purchasing the paid service, a blue verification symbol will appear in the user’s account.
What exactly is Twitter Legacy Blue Tick?
Actually, before Elon Musk, Paras Aggarwal was in charge of Twitter. During this time, only specific types of individuals, organisations, and businesses received the Blue Tick, also known as the Blue Verification Check Mark. The user had to apply for this, and they received the blue tick for free.

But, after taking over Twitter, Elon Musk made a significant change: users who previously received blue ticks for free have suddenly been charged a monthly fee for blue tick verification. Together with this, separate verification check marks for different accounts have been added.
Twitter Legacy Blue Tick to be withdrawn on April 20
The blue tick will be removed from older accounts on April 20, according to Elon Musk’s latest announcement. On April 12, 2023, Musk tweeted from his official account, alerting users that blue tick verification will require a monthly fee on the Twitter app and website. Links for Blue Tick Verification Service were also released on Twitter on behalf of Twitter Verified.

Subscription to Twitter Blue Tick
Twitter has introduced the Blue subscription service. Users will have to pay a monthly fee of $ 7, which is around Rs 560. Users of subscription services get access to more features than free users.
