New Delhi: DuckDuckGo just announced that their privacy-focused browser is now available in public beta for Windows. Users can download the installation package from the official website. This web browser includes a number of privacy measures. The browser is already accessible on Android, iOS, and Mac platforms for the uninitiated.
According to the company, it uses 60% less internet data than Chrome. According to the announcement, DuckDuckGo provides the following services:
Duck Player: This video player allows users to watch YouTube videos while avoiding “privacy-invading ads” and eliminating trackers that increase suggestion accuracy.
Block Hidden Trackers: DuckDuckGo claims to be an improved version of a third-party “Tracking Loading Protection” that prevents hidden trackers from loading. Second, it fills in the white space left by adverts to produce a more seamless experience.
Smarter Encryption: This ensures that websites and links visited by users are encrypted more effectively than other browsers.
Cookies Pop-up Management: This effectively finds and conceals the best privacy settings from cookie pop-ups on a website.
Fire Button:This is a simple alternative for clearing recent browsing history with “one click,” and “Fireproof” can save user login actions.
Email Protection: This allows users to replace email addresses with custom addresses on different websites.
Secure Password Management: This can remember and auto-fill passwords in requested websites.
