Anthropic recently announced its all-new Artificial Intelligence model: Cluade Sonnet 4.5. The new model has significantly improved over its predecessors in terms of using computers and meeting practical business needs, and beyond that, it excels in specialized fields like cybersecurity, finance, and research, Anthropic said. The Amazon-backed startup is right now valued at $183 billion, and is planning to make Claude Sonnet 4.5 available to all users.
The Model is able to generate higher quality code, and is better at identifying code improvements and can follow instructions more reliably, teh company stated

Anthorpic was founded by a group of ex-OpenAI researchers in 2021, and the two companies have been in a fierce competition ever since.
Mike Krieger, Anthropic’s chief product officer, has said that Claude sonnet 4.5 will be the default for users, and Anthropic recommends it for every use. Paid subscribers can still choose to use Opus, and users with specific workflows can select an older generation of Sonnet if they are not ready to migrate overnight to teh new version.
New Add-ons to the Claude Sonnet
As per a new update, Claude Soonnet 4.5 can run autonomously for 30 hours, and as per anthropic, it will be able to maintain focus on complex multistep tasks throughout the period. Calude Opus,4, which was the previous version launched in May, could run autonomously for 7 hours.
Anthropic has also been able to improve the model’s behaviour through extensive training it has reduced cincering behaviour like deception, power seeking, and sycophancy, which is when a model tells a user what they want to hear. With teh new updates, the new platform is more resistant to prompt injection attacks, where a model can be tricked into doing something malicious, like exposing sensitive data.

As per media reports, Claude Sonnet 45 has demonstrated its abilities by creating a chat application similar to Slack and Microsoft Teams, and was able to generate over 11,00 lines of code without stopping until the task was complete. The company has described the Sonnet 4.5 as the best model for using Computers, emphasizing its focus on building complex agents.
Advanced Computer Interaction
With teh new update, Claude can now interpret what appears on the screen and navigate its autonomously, performing tasks similar to those of human users.
Upgraded Claude Cide and API
With teh new upgrade, users will be able to generate documents, slides, and spreadsheets directly within a conversation with Claude, and other enhancements have helped the against operate for longer durations and tackle more complex challenges.
Creative AI software add-ons
With the new Imagine Creative AI features, users will be able to transform their ideas into software in real time, unlike traditional coding tools, which require no preset commands or code. As per Anthropic, members of the premium tier will have access to a new AI model without any price increase.
