The currently on-going CES 2025 is the mecca of new innovation and technologies that are currently erupting in the market. In a recent turn of events at the CES 2025, Royal Enfield has announced a partnership with Qualcomm Technologies to empower the companies first electric motorcycle.
This has been one of the most major announcements that came through from the CES 2025, currently underway in Las Vegas. As per the News Royal Enfield Would integrate the Flea with Snapdragon QWM2290 system on chip module. And beyond that the Indian brand has also promised the use of Car-to-Cloud platform in the upcoming line of flying flea that the brand would launch.
CES 2025–The Flying Flea
The flying Flea is one of the first motorcycles to integrate such technology via the Snapdragon Car To Cloud Platform. Mario Alvisi, The Chief Growth officer of Royal Enfield spoke on the matter. He talked about how most of the tech that goes in the Flying Flea has been developed by Royal Enfield themselves but the integration of the Snapdragon Qualcomm technologies is a significant step towards the future of the company. Such a step as per ,Mario Alvisi would help the brand bring a unique and differentiated product experience.
CES’s New Innovation The Snapdragon QWM2290 SoC
The QWM2290 SoC has been specifically designed to support EV two wheelers. The chip would play an integral role in empowering the vehicle control unit, running an inhouse operating system developed by flying flea. Such advanced integration and operating system allows the user to manage all aspects of their bike and its ride through the interactive true round TFT cluster.
Snapdragon Car To Cloud Technology
The QWM2290 SoC and the car to cloud tech allows the vehicle to be seamlessly connected and communicate between the rider as well as the flying flea. The Technology integrated does so, through a secure Multi Modal interaction. So whether you are on or off the bike you can stay connected to the bike and still operate it with the help of 4G, Bluetooth as well as Wifi Connectivity.
Driving Modes
The Motorcycle would come with five pre set modes. And enable the rider to customize the riding experience based on the use as well as the terrain they are riding on. Through this system the the user can operate the vehicle with a smart key to unlock and start and initiate the vehicle remotely.
