The e-Aadhaar will give users the advantage of changing their name, date of birth, and address through their mobile phones. The service will be hassle-free as individuals will no longer need to visit Aadhaar Centres to get their information changed.

The intervention of Artificial Intelligence and face recognition technology will offer uninterrupted services to users across the nation.

As per Financial Express, users will have to visit Aadhaar Centres for enrolment, biometric authentication, fingerprinting, and iris scanning from November. The Centre’s aim is to save people’s time and do away with lengthy paperwork processes.

App to fetch other crucial details of an individual

Reports suggest that the UIDAI app will also display an individual’s PAN card, passport, and driving licences by fetching the information through verified government sources.
