Now only medicine but Blinkit has announced its ambulance service for the people. According to the media reports, the service will be delivered to people in 10 minutes.
Just like the tagline of the brand which is “Let’s Blink it”, it provides service within 10 minutes. Similarly, the brand has now come up with an ambulance service.
The first five ambulances by the brand started on January 2, 2025, in Gurugram. Before this people used to call or visit the website of any hospital to call the ambulance but now the ambulance service is one tap away. There used to be a helpline number but now this brand is offering an additional option for calling the ambulance.
India has faced the period of COVID-19, where ambulances and the rest of health-related services became very important. This will strengthen India’s medical system through support from the brand. Not only this but it will me easy for people to get the ambulance with just an application in 10 minutes.
The ambulance will reach the caller in a short time, making them reach the hospital on time. Apart from this once this facilities spread in the country it will help India in rural and Urban area to get the ambulance quickly.

The CEO of Blinkit Albinder Dhindsa posted about this service on his X handle. He wrote that “We are taking our first step towards solving the problem of providing quick and reliable ambulance service in our cities. The first five ambulances will be on the road in Gurugram starting today. As we expand the service to more areas, you will start seeing an option to book a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance through the Blinkit application.”

He further wrote about the specialty of the service and mentioned that, “Our ambulances are equipped with essential life-saving equipment, including oxygen cylinders, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), stretcher, monitor, suction machine, and essential emergency medicines and injections. Each ambulance has a paramedic, an assistant and a trained driver to make sure we are able to deliver the highest quality of service in time of need.”
