New Delhi: Online Fraud Ki Complaint Kaise Kare | In case of online fraud, consumers should directly go to the police station and lodge a complaint or a complaint can also be made through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. To make a complaint, a complaint has to be lodged within 24 hours. A cybercrime reporting portal is designed to report cybercrime cases. Read further in detail:

Online fraud incidents have become common. Every day someone becomes a victim of online fraud. However, very few people know how to report if they become a victim of online fraud. So tell that the complaint of online fraud should be done directly at the police station. Or a complaint can be made on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. It is specifically designed to report cybercrime cases.

If you want the case to be resolved by taking immediate action on the fraud done to you, then you should file a complaint within 24 hours of the incident, so that the police can take action with immediate effect. In such a situation, it is possible that you will get the money from the fraud done to you immediately.

Steps to protect yourself from this 

Firstly https://cybercrime.gov.in. Go to Portal.

Then go to the home page and register the complaint.

After that click on terms and conditions and go to the next page.

After this click on the Cyber Crime Report button.

After this login entering your name, email and phone number.

After this enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.

Then click on submit button.

After this, file a complaint of fraud with you.

Then click on submit button.

After this, a new page will open, where the remaining details of the crime will have to be given. After that click on Save and Next button.

On the next page, give information about the potential suspect and click on the submit button.

After this, a message will come that the complaint has been registered.

Note- If you lodge a complaint of online fraud, lottery scam, ATM fraud, fake call and internet banking fraud, then complete proof will have to be given.

Where you can log the complained 

The government of India had started a 155260 helpline number. Any complaint related to cyber fraud can be registered on this helpline number. This number was started by the Union Home Ministry to prevent online fraud. It is operated by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center with the help of RBI, Payment Banks and other main banks.
