New Delhi: The first developer beta of VisionOS includes a feature for the Apple Vision Pro spatial computer. This feature called ‘Travel Mode’ (Apple Pro Vision Travel Mode) is specially designed to improve the flight experience of the users.
As Mac Rumors reports, Travel Mode appears to be the company’s answer to providing an immersive experience, as an airplane cabin with limited space and special environmental conditions can be difficult for virtual reality (VR) devices.
In the first first developer version of VisionOS, there are several text strings found that provides information about the operation of this new feature. As per the information, these text strings hints that the feature was created to modify the capabilities of Vision Pro to fit the specific constraints of an airplane cabin.
However, since Travel Mode is still in beta stage, there can be more improvemnets and potentially more features before it is out for the users. Apple had unveiled the Vision Pro headset earlier this month. Priced at $3,499, the Apple Vision Pro will be available early next year, starting with the US.
