Yesterday Apple introduced the all new iOS 26 at its annual worldwide developers conference. the new updates most highlighted feature ahs been its vibrant new design and smarter features powered by Apple Intelligence. Apple has based the new iOS update on the Liquid Glass ideology. Apple has given the iOS fresh new appeal with glass like widgets. It was while revealing about the new look that Apple revealed that the iOS had received its final design update before the iOS 26 with the iOS 7, and hence it was about time that Apple reworked its iOS platform to look advanced and more streamlined.
The New Interface showcases the new translucent elements, subtle reflections and dynamic responsiveness that mimics the Optical qualities of solarium. iOS 26 also brings improvement to redesigned phone and messaging applications and helps users to personalize their OS as per their use. Apple has made a lot of new optimizations to their CarPlay, Apple music, Maps and wallet application.
With the new iOS 26 new capabilities such as live translations, visual intelligence, smarter Siri Shortcuts, and more ways to express yourself using genmoji and Ai generated images. Apple has also launched a new Apple gaming application and added handy multitasking features as well.
While Apple has showcased its new Ai features as the newest boon in the market that would revolutionize the Ai feature sphere, critiques have been quick to find faults in the towering claims that Apple had made in the live event yesterday. The critiques have started pointed fingers at the promises that have never materialized.

The long awaited revamp of the Siri never materialized. Beyond that once the live event had announced the launch on developer Beta iOS 26 developers and enthusiasts downloaded the update. The liquid glass design was soon reported to be picturesque and useful by many while others reported that the legibility factor of the notification cards and further pointed out at the misplaced aesthetic of the new OS update.

The users were quick to recognize the resemblance between the new iOS 26 and the Windows Vista. Witnessing the resemblance Windows posted a cryptic post on Twitter. As Microsoft was able to bring back glass aesthetics with Windows Vista and Windows 7. WIth the mounting critique MKBHD famed Tech Youtuber also complained about the new liquid glass aesthetics on iOS 26. He further raised concerns on why the readability with the new update could be issue. The Issue was further reported by users who downloaded the beta app on their devices.
