The Core Issue involved a bypass of the USB restricted mode. This security feature would normally require a pass code to allow the locked iPhone to connect to a computer or other devices via USB. This lapse could have allowed a user with the physical access to your phone to download your data. These lapses allowed attackers disable this protection, opening the door to potential of stealing information.
