With the anticipation for the new iPhone 17 series reaching an all-time high before the September launch, Apple might be planning to curb it all with their new decision. As per a recent update, Mark Gurman has revealed that the Cupertino brand has been planning to stop announcing any updates and new features before they are ready for launch.
Apple has revealed this new strategy after it delayed its personalized version of Siri, which would be powered by Apple Intelligence. Apple had Promised after the EEDC 2024 by 2024 had promised that Siri would upgrade during its WWDC 2024 Keynote, and at the time it said that the features would be revealed within the coming years.
Apple also missed its Promised 2024 Time-frame for the launch of the car-play. Which it had announced all the way back in 2022.The new strategy would enable the brand to take their time and launch a new technology whenever they seem to find it ready for launch.
iPhone 17 New Leaks
As per a recent report, it has been revealed that iPhone 17e might be launched early on in 2026. Beyond that a recent Report by CNET has revealed that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max could be launched in a new Sky Blue option. Whether the blue hue would be the same as we have seen on Mac or not is still a mystery. Beyond these leaks the pill shaped camera bar specially on the Air Model. Beyond this this time around Apple would be upgrading the iPhone from 60 Hz display to 120HZ display.
Further, its possible that the size of the front facing face Id sensor might be reduced as well to ensure that the size of the Dynamic Island can be reduced. Beyond these new features there have been rumor’s about the inclusion of 12Gb RAM across different models in the iPhone range as well.
