Apple has taken its online store offline ahead of the much-awaited event, scheduled to take place at Apple Park in Cupertino at 10:30 PM IST on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. This is a routine step the company takes before launching new products. The store shutdown, just hours before the big reveal, is meant to prepare the site for the iPhone 17 series, AirPods Pro 3, and the latest Apple Watches.
The temporary shutdown hints at new hardware announcements at the Apple “Awe Dropping” event.
When we logged on to the Apple Store, we were greeted with the familiar “Be right back” message, which means an update it imminent. The store is expected to be back shortly after the products are launched. Once back, it is expected to show fresh listings, details and pricing.
The outage came just hours before Apple is expected to announce its flagship iPhone 17 series, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Beyond iPhones, Apple is also likely to introduce new watches, including the Series 11 and Ultra 3, and the AirPods Pro 3.
