Apple iPhone SE 4 leaks
The fourth-generation iPhone SE from Apple may have a smaller display. Apple is considering a display size for the iPhone SE 4 that ranges from 5.7 to 6.1 inches. The phone could have a 6.1-inch display, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The company is considering 6.1-inch to 5.7-inch displays for the product, according to Ross Young. All current iterations of the iPhone SE are based on previous iPhone models. The current iPhone SE (3rd generation) is based on the iPhone 8 and has a 4.7-inch display with TouchID home button.
According to reliable tipper Jon Prosser, the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 4 could have a design similar to the iPhone XR. It could have rounded corners. The company is rumoured to be ditching TouchID in favour of another form of authentication.
Apple is expected to include a notch in the iPhone SE family with the next iPhone SE 4. While the front camera will be housed in the notch, it is unknown whether it will support Face ID authentication.
The A16 chip, which currently powers the top-end model of the iPhone 14 series and is expected to power the regular iPhone 15, will most likely power the Apple iPhone SE 4.
The current iPhone SE 3 is powered by the A15 Bionic chipset found in the iPhone 13 series.
