As per the Analysts at market research firm International Data Corp- Apple Sold about 12 million units of iPhone in the nation. The Number is lower than that of manufacturers like Vivo and Samsung. But Since the average prices of apple is nearly thrice than the industry average , Apple has become the highest selling brand in India. As per the report Apple might further sell around 15 million units of iPhones this year, boosting the revenue.
Apple’s iPhone 16e Specs And Features
The iPhone 16e features a wide array of flagship features, such as a 6.1 inch XDR OLED display. The phone would be using an aerospace grade aluminum frame and a glass back. The Phone comes in two color options a white and a black option. Beyond these features the 16e is the first one to have received the new C1 modem, which has been developed to provide the phone with seamless connectivity. This is the first time Apple has been using the new 5g modem before the launch of 16e apple used to borrow modem chipsets from QUALCOMM for their phones. 16e would have 8 gb of internal ram that would allow it to easily operate with Apple Intelligence.
Some of the other new changes involve an action button, Face Id as well as a USB c port for charging. In India the 16e 128 gb variant has been priced at Rs 59,900, the 256 GB variant has been priced at Rs 69,900 and the 512 Gb variant has been priced at Rs 89,999. The Official sales of the phone would start from February 28, the phone can possibly increase the market share that Apple enjoys further.
The 16e would be manufactured in India as well, this may lower the production costs in the long term duration. And might further enhance Companies presence in the nation.
