If you’re planning to upgrade to a new flagship, it might be wise to wait a little longer, as a slew of new launches are just around the corner. The lineup of unveilings will include the iPhone 17 series, Oppo’s F31 series, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE, and a new tablet.
Apple iPhone 17 Line-up
Apple’s keynote has been branded the “Awe Dropping” event and will be staged at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino. Apple is expected to reveal five new iPhone models. The standard iPhone 17 is tipped to feature a slimmer aluminium frame and Apple’s latest A19 Bionic processor. Beyond this, a larger iPhone is also expected to join the lineup with the same core specifications but with an expanded display.
The iPhone 17 Pro may upgrade to a triple-camera system with LiDAR and offer storage options up to 2TB. The top-end iPhone 17 Pro Max could feature the line’s largest display.
The iPhone Air, meanwhile, is being hyped as the star of the show. This ultra-thin handset, measuring close to 5.5 inches, is expected to debut soon. The Pro models will exclusively support a 120Hz refresh rate.
Oppo F31 Series
Oppo is gearing up to launch its all-new F31 series between September 12 and 14. The lineup is expected to include: Oppo F31 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, Oppo F31 Pro 5G with Dimensity 7300 and Oppo F31+ 5G powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
Realme 15T
Expanding its number series in India, Realme has launched the all-new Realme 15T at Rs 20,999. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max chipset and a 7,000mAh battery. While Oppo has yet to reveal detailed F31 series specs, the Realme 15T is rumored to offer 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, flat displays, and support for 80W fast charging. This launch follows the Oppo F29 range, which debuted in March.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 FE on September 4 at its Galaxy event, alongside the Tab S11 series. Indian sales are expected to begin mid-month.
The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2000 nits, powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset. Camera hardware is likely to include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 12MP selfie camera.
To ensure all-day use, the device will support 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, running on Android 16 with One UI 8 pre-installed. Its design will closely mirror the Galaxy S24 FE, with pricing expected to fall between Rs 60,000 and Rs 65,000.
