The phone will run iOS 26, featuring Apple’s new Liquid Glass technology. For display enthusiasts, the handset is expected to sport a ProMotion OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Apple iPhone 17 Pro Camera Upgrades

As always, the Pro models will receive the most advanced camera system. The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to ditch the older 12 MP telephoto lens and instead bring a 48 MP periscope telephoto sensor.

Additionally, users may get a 48 MP primary camera and a 48 MP ultrawide lens, creating a triple 48 MP camera setup. On the front, Apple might finally upgrade the selfie shooter to a 24 MP sensor, replacing the long-standing 12 MP unit. Leaks suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro will start from Rs 1,34,999 for the 12Gb RAM + 128 GB storage variant. This is still unofficial; we’ll get the confirmed details during the launch on September 9

iPhone 17 Pro Rumors and Leaks

The iPhone 17 Pro models will be available in two sizes, similar to the iPhone 16 Pro lineup: a 6.3-inch variant and a 6.9-inch variant. According to media reports, the 17 series will return to an aluminum-and-glass design, giving the phone a refreshed appeal.

New Design Changes

Apple is also planning to redesign the camera bump. Instead of the square-shaped bump on the left, the iPhone 17 Pro will feature a rectangular camera bar. The lenses will be arranged in a triangular layout on the left, while the flash and LiDAR sensors will shift to the right. The new bump will extend across most of the phone’s width.

Beyond physical changes, Apple is expected to rework the antenna lines around the rear camera bump to improve 5G connectivity. This year, Apple will also equip the phone with its own in-house Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chip, potentially boosting efficiency. Since antenna lines near the bottom of the phone have caused issues in the past, Apple will most likely move them closer to the camera module.

Colors and Battery

Apple is expected to introduce a new Orange color option, resembling a pale copper shade, alongside Dark Blue, Black, White, and Gray finishes. For the first time, the Pro model might also feature a 5000 mAh battery, delivering significantly better battery life.
