Manufacturing Cost
According to the report of TD Cowen, a 256GB iPhone 16 Pro Max costs Apple about $485 (Rs 40,700 approximately) to manufacture. This includes the components, box, and assembly process.
According to the report, the iPhone 15 Pro Max had a manufacturing cost of $453 (Rs 38,000). This was about $32 cheaper than the newer model.
On the other hand, the iPhone 16 manufacturing cost is $416 (Rs 34,900) whereas, the iPhone 15’s making cost was $395 (Rs 33,150).
The most costly component in iPhone 16 Pro Max is a tie between the display and the rear camera module. Both takes $80-$80 (16-16% of total manufacturing cost) apiece to manufacture.
On the iPhone 16’s making cost, the display is the most expensive component. This comes for $65 or 16% of the total manufacturing cost.

Apple will reportedly hold another event in October 2024. The company might introduce new Macs and iPads during this event. Last year too Apple held a virtual event to announce new MacBook Pro and iMac models. The new launches might see the major updates compared to their predecessors.
