While Apple has been taking its time in developing the new Foldable device, the leaks as well as information has been able to keep us updated about the possible addition to the new device. In a recent leak the possibility of the phone crossing the $2,300 charge has been analyzed. As per a new leak Analyst Tim Long the foldable phone would be provided for a price of around $2,300 .
If the leak is correct about the possible pricing, the phone would be twice as expensive than that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which started at a price of around $1,199. As per the reports the number has been revealed by suppliers in Asia who would be supplying the proprietary parts that would go into the phone. As per the suppliers the phone would be launched anywhere around late 2026 or early 2027. As per Long, the prices would somewhat limit the overall sales of the device.
Previous Leaks
Before the following leaks analyst Ming Chi Kuo had put the pricing of both the phones between $2,000 and $2500. As per the leaks that were reported earlier, the device would have a 7.8 inch folding screen, a 5.5 inch cover display along with two rear cameras as well. The phone would have a touch id power button and a high density battery.
The leaks have alleged that the overall thickness of the phone would be around 4.5 mm when unfolded. And the overall thickness of the phone would be around 9mm to 9.5mm when the phone is folded. The phone would have a titanium frame with a Titanium And stainless steel hinge. Apple itself has not confirmed any of the details, all of these have been leaks that have been propounded by supply chain analysts.
