Apple Fitness+ was launched in India on Monday. The new health and wellness subscription service from the Cupertino-based brand helps users with their workouts. With the new service, users can access trainer-guided workout videos, track real-time workout metrics, and earn rewards for goal accomplishments – all through a single fitness application.
Following the launch in India, the Fitness application will soon be available in 49 countries around the world.
Apple Fitness+ Prices in India
Apple Fitness+ is available to Apple users via a subscription-based model, priced at Rs 149 per month. Alternatively, users can opt for an annual plan priced at Rs 999 per year. However, the service is not part of the Apple One plan, and users will need to subscribe separately.
According to the company, the Apple Fitness+ subscription can be shared with up to five family members. Apple is also offering a one-month free trial for users to try out the service before enrolling in a paid subscription.
Additionally, customers who purchase an Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro (3rd generation), or Powerbeats Pro 2 from Apple or an authorised Apple reseller will receive three months of complimentary Apple Fitness+, provided their devices are capable of running the latest operating system.
