New Delhi: Amazon has officially launched the new Kindle in India. The all-new Kindle 11th Gen is the 2022 edition that comes with a 6-inch high-resolution display and a lightweight body.
The new Kindle has twice the storage capacity of the previous generation and is made from 30-75 percent recycled plastic. Let’s look at the details.

Amazon Kindle 11th Gen comes at a price of Rs 9,999 but will be available for Rs 8,999 as an introductory offer. As this is an introductory price, it will be subject to stock availability.
It has two color variants, namely Denim and Black. It can be purchased from Amazon India.

The Kindle 11th Gen has a compact design with a 6-inch display. This is a high resolution panel with 300 PPI. The screen is said to be anti-glare and has three times as many pixels as the older version. The display supports both light and dark modes for electronic reading.
It has 16GB of storage, double the storage capacity of the previous generation Kindle. For the uninitiated, the previous generation Kindle had 8GB of storage, making it a major limitation for avid readers.
It comes with features like parental control to curate books for students. It lacks some other features such as waterproofing and automatic light adjustment.
However, the new Kindle may be a possible upgrade for those who want more storage and a compact design. It features a long-lasting battery that is said to offer six weeks of battery life. Charging is now simple as it has a USB Type-C port.
As Amazon seemingly cares about the environment, the new Kindle Black is made up of 75 percent recycled plastic, while the Kindle Denim is made up of 30 percent recycled plastic. Contains 90 percent recycled magnesium.
The box that the Kindle would arrive in is made from 100 percent wood fiber-based materials.
