Airtel is currently experiencing a widespread service outage across Delhi-NCR. Thousands of users reported service disruptions on Monday afternoon. The outage has reportedly affected both Airtel mobile and broadband users, who have complained of being unable to place calls or access the internet. According to outage tracker Downdetector, complaints about the outage began surfacing around 3:30 PM. Several users also took to X to report and confirm the issue.
The telecommunications company confirmed the service outage in a post on X. Responding to a user who complained that Airtel mobile network users in Delhi NCR were facing issues while making calls, the company said it was working to fix the issue. “We are currently experiencing a network outage. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore services promptly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thanks, Team Airtel,” the company said.
As the outage continues, many users took to the social media platform X to report the issue. A frustrated user asked, “How much time is required to restore the services? It’s already been more than 2 hours.” Another user wrote, “Airtel down in Delhi? For the last 1 hour, my wife thinks I’m ignoring her calls. Thanks, Airtel, for turning a network issue into a marriage issue.” A third user commented, “Is Airtel Network down in Delhi? For 1 hour, I am facing a calling issue, incoming and outgoing both.” Meanwhile, a fourth user said, “Voice service is down in Gurugram for the last 30 mins, only internet is working, can’t make outgoing or receive incoming calls. What is happening?”
