Price (Expected)
Tipster Yogesh Brar suggested through one of his tweets that the price of the phone in India could be Rs 42,000 or Rs 43,000. The phone is already available for pre-order on Flipkart with a refundable deposit of Rs 2,000. The Nothing Phone 2 will come in two color options – white and dark grey/black.
If previous leaks are to be believed, this phone will come with two storage configuration options – 8GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB. In Europe, the 256GB will be listed for EUR 729 (roughly Rs. 65,600). Whereas, the 512GB option is said to be priced at EUR 849 (roughly Rs. 76,500).
Specifications (Expected)
Nothing Phone 2 will get a bigger display than the previous model. It will have a large 6.7-inch display with an OLED panel with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution. Its screen will be full-HD + and adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz.
It will run on Android 13 based Nothing OS 2.0 out-of-the-box. As per the Geekbench listing of the Indian variant, the phone will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It has already been confirmed by the company that they will bring the phone with 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
Camera & Battery
The upcoming phone is expected to feature a 50MP primary Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide lens for the back. This phone can have a 32MP front camera for selfie and video calling.
It has been confirmed by the company that the Nothing Phone 2 will pack a 4,700mAh battery. Whereas, the tipster suggests that the phone will come with 33W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. This phone will reportedly have an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
