Skipper Shubman Gill Guides IND To 182/4 vs ZIM
Choosing to bat first, Shubman Gill opened the innings alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had been part of the traveling reserves but hadn’t played in any matches. Jaiswal was dismissed for 36 runs by a delivery from Sikandar Raza, while captain Shubman Gill scored a superb 66.
Abhishek Sharma, who had scored a century in the previous match, failed to make an impact, getting out for just 10 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sanju Samson were then tasked with guiding India to a competitive total. Ruturaj narrowly missed a half-century by one run, as India ended their 20 overs at 182/4.
Sikandar Raza once again excelled with the ball followed by Muzarabani as the duo took two wickets each on the day.
Team IND Restrict ZIM To 159/6 In 3rd T20I
Chasing a challenging 183, the hosts didn’t get off to a good start as opener Wessly Madhevere on just 1 run in the 2nd over courtesy of an Avesh Khan delivery. Dion Myers ended up as the top scorer with a well made half century but the Indian bowlers performed their task well and restricted the hosts to 159/6 in 20 overs. Washington Sundar took three wickets to his name while Avesh Khan also managed to picked 2 scalps on the day as Team India took a deserving 2-1 lead in the series.
