Led by Shubman Gill, his opening partner and debutant Abhishek Sharma gave India the worst stat possible by departing on a duck in the 2nd over. While Ruturaj Gaikwad was expected to give the side some momentum, he too saw himself being sent back to the pavilion at just 7 runs courtesy of a Blessing Muzarabani delivery.
