Yuvraj Khatri Twists Foot While Trying To Imitate ‘Tabraiz Shamsi’ Celebration (Watch Video)

Nepal spinner Yuvraj Khatri met with an accident during the Nepal vs Bangladesh U19 Asia Cup match and twisted his foot while celebrating a wicket.

The U19 Asia Cup is being held in the United Arab Emirates between eight teams including big sides such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh are among the favourites to win the trophy and took on Nepal in their recent tournament match. The Bangladeshi team registered a five-wicket win while chasing down 143 runs, however, Nepal bowlers also showcased a decent fight while defending the low score. Apart from the cricketing action, a bizarre moment took place with Nepal spinner Yuvraj Khatri which caught the attention of the fans.

Yuvraj Khatri Twists His Foot While Imitating ‘Tabraiz Shamsi’ Celebration

Yuvraj Khatri had put the opposition under pressure and took four out of five wickets while bowling against Bangladesh. Yuvraj bowled a spell of six overs wherein the latter picked up four wickets by giving away 23 runs and also bowled one maiden over. Khatri’s shoe celebration became the talk of the town and imitated South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi’s celebration by removing his right shoe and put it up near his ear after picking a wicket.

Few overs later, Bangladeshi batter Md Rizan was caught in front by Yuvraj Khatri, however, while he was going to celebrate the wicket, the Nepali leg-spinner twisted his leg. Khatri was in deep pain and was limping due to which he fell on the ground. Yuvraj wasn’t even able to walk and was taken off the field by his teammates by carrying him on back.
