Before the mega-event, fans had mix expressions of the squad, but things changed when Rohit Sharma-Led Team India changed everyone’s perception and went on to win every single match in the tournament, which includes the historic final against South Africa in Barbados.

However, Team India bounced back and went on to win the series by 4-1.

With old-guns back in the side, India were favourites ahead of series, But Sri Lanka had a some other plans. India was all set against the visiting Kiwi-side in the 3-match Test series. Fans thought that the series would be a one-sided affair, but India never thought that Kiwis would hit them hard. From Bengaluru to Mumbai, Kiwi’s all-round performance decimated Team India’s approach and ended India’s winning-streak at home.
Winning T20I Series In South Africa
Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India went on to battle out against their T20 World Cup finalist South Africa. Team India dominated the series and went on to win the series by 3-1. This series showed the sheer dominance of Team India in T20Is.
