Border-Gavaskar Trophy: Yashasvi Jaiswal looked the part on Day 2 of the first Test as India continued their fight against Australia. He defended stiffly, never losing the opportunity to bask in good fortune against Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.
Jaiswal has also been spotted exchanging cheeky words with the Australian bowlers during his innings. At stumps on Day 2, he was unbeaten on 90 off 193 balls, including seven fours and two sixes. With those two sixes, Jaiswal has 34 sixes in 2024, a new record for the most sixes hit in a calendar year in Test history.
