Yashasvi Jaiswal, who wanted to seek a no-objection certificate from MCA to play Ranji Trophy for Goa instead of Mumbai a month ago, has made a U-turn on this big decision. Now, Jaiswal has, in an email, informed the association that he is withdrawing his NOC and that he is willing to appear for the next domestic season to play for Mumbai.
According to reports, Jaiswal wrote in an email to MCA, “ I request you to take back the NOC given to me. Earlier, I had plans to move to Goa with my family, but now it has been cancelled. Therefore, I request that MCA consider allowing me to play for Mumbai this season. I have not sent my NOC to either BCCI or the Goa Association.” However, MCA has not yet responded to Jaiswal’s email.

Other Mumbai Players In the Goa Team
Last month, remarkably, Jaiswal stunned officials at MCA, when he applied for an NOC to play for Goa in the Ranji Trophy. Then, Jaiswal had cited personal reasons to the MCA for going to Goa. If Jaiswal had played for Goa, he would have joined Arjun Tendulkar and Siddhesh Lad as the third player from his generation to leave Mumbai for Goa.
Reason To Switch From Mumbai To Goa
There were reports last month that he is in a dispute with a senior Mumbai player. Someone in this senior player is complaining that Jaiswal has an attitude. In the report sent to the association, this senior had, in particular, mentioned the irresponsible stroke of Jaiswal in a very significant match of Ranji Trophy. Simultaneously, there was a great amount of tension between the two playing in the field as well. However what response will the Mumbai Cricket Association give to this request of Jaiswal, will be an interesting question to answer now.
