WWE and Netflix are on the verge of a major landmark and it appears that they are going all out to celebrate it. It will be a major milestone for the streaming giant as the inaugural episode of the RAW series on the Netflix platform was broadcast on January 6th of the current year. This means that the agreement between the entertainment giant and the streaming giant will complete a year soon.
In honor of this special occasion, it looks as if both sides are willing to do a little something different to engage their fan base. Netflix released Season 5 of Stranger Things back in November, and it appears as if the new streaming service is ready to promote the popular show even further, courtesy of WWE. This special event is to occur during the Jan. 5, 2026, edition of RAW.
RAW Meets Stranger Things
Netflix gave fans an indication of the upcoming collaboration on their social media platform with a video clip showing how the WWE logo would look with the Stranger Things theme.

This is a great cross-promotional opportunity for both parties involved. The WWE gets a “special” episode of one of its shows, which is conveniently timed around the one-year mark of being a Netflix-exclusive franchise, and Netflix gets to use the popularity of WWE to advertise one of its leaders. It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved, and fans are treated to something fresh and exciting on the way.
Netflix bullish on WWE partnership
The optimism that Netflix holds for their partnership with the WWE is not only limited to RAW. This is because Netflix recently announced information for Season 2 of their show entitled “WWE: Unreal,” which showcases their enthusiasm for the brand. According to the announcement by Netflix for Season 2 of their show entitled “WWE: Unreal,” this new season of their series includes new storylines with an incredible cast of characters featuring Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, et cetera.
Given the RAW special episodes, the crossover promotions, as well as the new content within the WWE world that is already in action, the growing partnership between the two entities is indeed taking some shape. Only time will tell if more episodes or maybe some new titles will follow. Nevertheless, the WWE in Netflix is only going to get bolder.
