Nikki Bella is seemingly not finished with the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames saga yet. At the PLE, she had a singles battle against Stephanie Vaquer, where the Women’s World Title was the prize. The fight was set up after Bella had betrayed Vaquer out of the blue a few weeks back, letting everyone know that she was there not to befriend anyone but to shake things up.
Nikki Bella Sends Strong Message After Failing To Capture The Title
The Women’s World Champion managed to stop the challenger and thus retain her title through a tough struggle. Nikki Bella, who was the centre of attention in the match, was very upset and commented that she was not done yet in a backstage segment posted on WWE’s Instagram.
“Of course you want a comment. You know what happened out there? I lost but let me tell you something. This isn’t the last of Nikki Bella. You got that? This is not the last.” she said.
Jim Cornette Defends Stephanie Vaquer As The Right Winner
Jim Cornette claimed that the right choice of booking a fight between Nikki Bella and Stephanie Vaquer would have been to let the latter win. The WWE legend had already expressed this opinion during a discussion in his Drive Thru podcast, prior to the PLE:
“I am hopeful that Stephanie Vaquer will retain. So that, you know, she can build her dominance, her dominant streak coming up since you–you and the rest of the fans have taken to her. So why does Nikki Bella need to come in and horn in on things?”
