For a few months now, Damian Priest has been more or less exclusively involved with Aleister Black on Friday Night SmackDown, but their conflict got even hotter during the episode before Crown Jewel 2025 when Zelina Vega sided with her husband against the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Damian Priest finds Ally in Rhea Ripley on SmackDown
Since that moment, Damian Priest has always been in a two-against-one situation on the brand, but it was just unveiled on the latest episode that he had finally discovered a companion who is none other than Rhea Ripley. The previous Judgment Day members met again back in the day, with The Eradicator saying to her friend that she had a plan for him regarding his SmackDown problem, and the ex-World Champion seemed to be all ears.
On December 5, 2025, episode of WWE SmackDown, Damian, in a promo video, told Aleister that after bringing his spouse, Zelina, into their fight, he made up his mind to also involve his family.
Rhea Ripley warns Zelina Vega ahead of mixed Tag Team showdown
Rhea Ripley pointed out that Vega made a great mistake when she thought The Eradicator wouldn’t come to her aid after teasing Damian Priest, the one with whom she had been having challenges ever since their time in The Judgment Day.
“The mistake that you made was thinking that you could poke the bear and that I wouldn’t be there by his side. Because Damian and I, we’ve been through hell and back.”
They made this statement during the show that next week on Friday Night SmackDown, there would be a mixed tag team match between Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley vs. Aleister Black and Zelina Vega.
