The first episode of RAW after WWE Backlash 2025 was tremendous. Some announcements had already been made for the show, and the top stars of the company won everyone’s hearts with their performances. The main event created a lot of buzz, while some storylines were carried forward in an excellent manner.
CM Punk and Seth Rollins made a major impact, and the women’s division also delivered an outstanding performance. The show began with WWE paying tribute to the late Sabu. Let’s take a look at the results from RAW:
CM Punk’s Segment
CM Punk was in no mood to hold back. He claimed that Paul Heyman had stabbed him in the back, calling Heyman a snake. As Punk continued, Heyman entered the arena. Punk invited Heyman into the ring and said he would have the final word. Soon after, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker entered the scene. Rollins accused Punk of misleading people.

Rollins sent Breakker into the ring, leading to a brawl between Punk and Breakker. Rollins also joined the attack. Sami Zayn came out to help Punk and displayed great strength, but he, too, was overwhelmed by Rollins and Breakker. Rollins was about to attack Punk with a chair when Jey Uso made the save. Despite their efforts, Punk, Sami, and Jey were ultimately left dominated by the heels.

Penta’s Match and Saturday Night’s Main Event Announcement
Penta faced off against Chad Gable in a thrilling match. Both superstars put on a great performance for the fans. Penta showcased his strength and athleticism. In the end, Penta secured a major victory, hitting a devastating Mexican Destroyer and pinning Gable. This marked a big win for Penta, and he looked thrilled afterward.

WWE later announced a huge tag team match for Saturday Night’s Main Event: Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk and Sami Zayn. A backstage segment between Sami and Punk followed, where they vowed to take down Rollins and Breakker. A hint of camaraderie and mutual respect was seen between Punk and Sami.

The War Raiders vs The Creed Brothers & Jey Uso’s Segment
The War Raiders battled the Creed Brothers in one of the most spectacular matches of the night. All four superstars delivered a top-tier performance. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day were at ringside. Woods interfered in the match, and the referee caught him. Kofi then attacked Ivar, giving the Creed Brothers the advantage to pick up the win.

Jey Uso received a huge pop from the fans during his segment. He promised to defeat Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event and retain his title. Gunther then entered and mocked Jey, claiming that Jey isn’t a natural champion. Gunther revealed that he would challenge the winner of the Jey vs. Logan Paul match on the June 9th episode of RAW. Jey vowed to first destroy Paul and then deal with Gunther. Later backstage, Bron Breakker attacked Jey Uso in a sneak assault.

AJ Styles vs Finn Bálor & Becky Lynch’s Segment
AJ Styles went head-to-head with Finn Bálor in another exciting bout. Carlito and JD McDonagh tried to distract Styles during the match. Their interference prevented Styles from executing the Phenomenal Forearm. However, Penta appeared and attacked Carlito and McDonagh. This gave Styles the opportunity he needed to hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Bálor and score the victory.

Becky Lynch was visibly furious during her segment. She claimed to be the rightful winner at Backlash and took shots at Lyra Valkyria. Becky also blamed the fans for their lack of support. Her promo was intense and passionate, and she issued a warning to every other woman in the division.

Main Event – Tag Team Match: Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY vs Julia & Roxanne Perez
Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY teamed up against Julia and Roxanne Perez in a high-octane main event. All four superstars put on a tremendous show, earning loud cheers from the fans. The ending was dramatic – Rhea saved IYO from an attack, and Roxanne accidentally collided with Julia. This turned the tide in favor of Rhea and IYO. Rhea hit a big move on Roxanne, and SKY followed up to seal the win.
