The last Raw before WWE Money in the Bank 2025 was full of drama, brutal matches, and fan-beloved segments. Superstars gave it everything they had from beginning to end, making fans happy. The show ended in chaos, as Seth Rollins and his cohorts wreaked havoc, especially on Jey Uso.
CM Punk Kicks Off the Show with Blunt Statements
CM Punk started the evening to thunderous applause from the audience. He addressed winning the Money in the Bank briefcase twice previously and stated his desire to do so a third time. Punk promised to cash in on John Cena and become the champion. He also had shots at Cena and The Rock, labeling The Rock a “bald fraud.”
Sami Zayn came out and agreed with Punk, indicating that Punk had to emerge victorious to prevent Seth Rollins and become World Champion. Zayn further stated that if Punk did become the champion, he’d be up for challenging him. The two shook hands in mutual respect.
Triple Threat Women’s Qualifier & Judgment Day Tag Match
A Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier triple threat match involved Ivy Nile, Stephanie Vaquer, and Liv Morgan. Liv said she would win before it happened. At the beginning, Ivy and Liv ganged up on Vaquer. Even so, Vaquer had good crowd support and produced solid spots. Eventually, Liv used Oblivion on Vaquer, but Ivy broke the pin. Ivy proceeded to beat down Liv on the steel steps, enabling Vaquer to execute her finisher on Ivy and gain the victory.
In tag action, Judgment Day battled The War Raiders with The New Day providing commentary. War Raiders’ Ivar and Erik dominated the opening stage. Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh retaliated with solid attack. Roxanne Perez suddenly diverted Ivar’s attention, and JD sent him into the ring post. Bálor then capitalized with the Coup de Grace to secure victory.
Lyra Valkyria Calls Out Becky Lynch, Brawl Breaks Out
Lyra Valkyria confronted Becky Lynch and told her she would destroy her whole. Lyra stated Becky was not “The Man” she used to be. Becky replied, stating Lyra just wanted to fill her shoes. Lyra challenged Becky to a fight right then and there, but Becky declined and left. Lyra pursued, and a brawl in the back between the two erupted, which officials had to step in and stop.
Tag Team Match & CM Punk’s Rescue
Sami Zayn and Jey Uso were together against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Breakker and Jey began, with Breakker dominating at the beginning. Sami and Reed also had their turn. But the match was over by disqualification as Seth Rollins smashed Jey Uso with a stomp. After the match, Reed and Breakker attempted to slam Sami through a table but CM Punk emerged with a chair and saved him. Punk also attempted to strike Seth Rollins with the chair, but Seth evaded it.
Kairi Sane vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Kairi Sane fought Raquel Rodriguez in a stiff singles match. Sane had the upper hand initially, but Raquel fought back with strong maneuvers. Liv Morgan tried to distract Kairi, but Iyo Sky emerged to level things out. Kairi ultimately fought past Raquel and took the win with a good finishing move.
Main Event: MITB Qualifier – Styles vs. Punk vs. El Grande Americano
The main match saw AJ Styles, CM Punk, and El Grande Americano fighting in a high-flying Money in the Bank qualifying bout. All three of them left everything on the table with Punk delivering a GTS to Americano. Breakker then interfered and pulled Punk off into the ring. Reed and Breakker beat down Punk before Sami Zayn and Jey Uso came in to make the save. A crazy brawl ensued at ringside.
Back inside the ring, Americano took advantage by striking his finisher on Styles and pinning him for victory. CM Punk’s Money in the Bank ladder match entry dream was shattered.
Post-Match Carnage
Following the match, Seth Rollins stomped Punk, Zayn, and Uso, while Breakker speared Punk. Bronson Reed followed up with two Tsunami splashes on Jey Uso, leaving him battered to close out the show.
