Natalya’s collaboration with Maxxine Dupri is an indication that the company has great plans for her, and huge things are coming her way as she is to be heavily supported in 2026.
The wrestler is regarded as very promising, and the promotion will be the one to drive that forward. Natalya’s persona has also morphed yet again, and she is now portraying part of her Lowkey Legend character, which has not really been seen on the company’s live events, but the superstar has been giving hints about it on other platforms and through her posts.

Natalya’s new persona signals WWE’s big plans for elevating Maxxine Dupri
According to Sportskeeda reports, she will be a very important person who helps other stars to get past their down periods, and we have already witnessed that with Maxxine Dupri. WWE perceives Maxxine as a “HUGE” star, hence they are going to ensure she gets the proper booking and promotion as well. She is now behaving in a more serious manner, and the vignettes with Natalya only strengthen this impression.
“So there are a couple of names being talked about for big pushes for 2026. Natalya is one. She’s getting a very different look and push. But it won’t be like anything fans have seen so far in WWE and it will be more about pushing other stars. Maxxine is going to be a HUGE star if they can help it. The work just started for that.”
Speculation grows over Maxxine’s alignment as WWE expands her in-ring role
Maxxine and Natalya have been spotted wrestling in short clips. The champion will probably be defending her belt several times in the next weeks and months. The things happening are clearly indicating the push to the talent has started showing already. The question remains, though, whether she is still very much a part of Otis and Akira Tozawa’s storyline, or if she gradually gets more isolated from them as the run now progresses.
