“I Want To Kick Him In The Face” – Current WWE Champion Spits Venom at CM Punk, Publicly Insults and Mocks Him

CM Punk is a massive name in WWE. However, a current champion has now made a shocking statement about him, brutally mocking and insulting the star.

CM Punk staged an emphatic comeback to WWE at the end of 2023. Since then, he has always produced excellent performances. His rivalry with Drew McIntyre swept everyone off their feet last year. But Punk has yet to win a title since he returned. Regardless, he made his dream come true this year by making Helm line the headline for WrestleMania.

Many wrestlers in WWE hate Punk, whereas the most notable is Seth Rollins. The “Best in the World” has managed to gain several enemies since then. One of them is the current Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio, who is known to hate him. Mysterio recently let Venom loose against Punk in a shocking statement.

What did WWE Star Dominik Mysterio say?

Dominik Mysterio recently gave an interview to The Wrestling Classic. When asked about CM Punk, Mysterio mockingly said,

“I fucking hate CM Punk. I don’t know what it is about that guy, I don’t know if it’s because he looks like Eddie Munster and I just want to kick him in the fucking face, or the fact that everyone’s like ‘oh he finally did it, he finally got his WrestleMania main event’, like good for you old man, 60 years old, took you 45 years to accomplish your one goal, like god damn dude it’s about time. It’s like what they say about babies, when they have tantrums you give them what they want so they can shut the fuck up. So I’m pretty sure that’s what happened, that’s why he needed a favor from Paul Heyman because there was obviously a reason he was never in the main event right? You call yourself the best in the world, I don’t need to go around calling myself the best in the world because people know I am, I’m better than the best. I don’t need to go out there calling myself ‘best in the world’ at 70 years old. You have these legends talking about me, I don’t need to do it myself.”

In sum, WrestleMania 41 Night 1 involved a triple-threat main event in the form of a match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk. While in the match, Paul Heyman betrayed Punk and Reigns and sided with Rollins. As a result of Punk’s participation, Rollins eventually managed to win. Heyman is currently a part of Rollins and Bron Breakker.

Dominik Mysterio Became Champion in WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41 was a turning point in the career of Dominik Mysterio. He won the Intercontinental Championship after a victory over Penta, Bron Breakker, and Finn Bálor. This was his first singles title win in the main roster, thus becoming history. Dominik has always been doing well in recent years, and the company has now rewarded him for his hard work.

To date, Dominik has defended his Intercontinental title twice against Penta. Most recently, he had managed to clinch onto it after defeating Penta once again at Backlash. It will be an interesting event to see who dares to challenge him for the title in the next event. Currently, AJ Styles is leading the list of contenders.
